Visual Arts Teacher Commendation Scheme
目的 Objectives
香港美術教育協會（HKSEA）一直致力促進視覺藝術教育和推動教師專業發展。推行「視覺藝術教師表揚計劃」是為了表揚本港具抱負並且工作表現優秀的視覺藝術科教師，並為同儕間提供交流的機會，鼓勵教師精益求精，提升其教學質素，長遠而言，提高視覺藝術科在學界中的地位。
計劃設立三類獎項，包括「高美慶教授視覺藝術教師發展獎」、「30年視覺藝術教育貢獻獎」及「藝術教育終身成就獎」。
HKSEA is dedicated to promoting visual arts education and teacher professional development in Hong Kong. The “Visual Arts Teachers Commendation Scheme” (VATCS) aims to recognise the outstanding performance and ambition of Hong Kong Visual Arts teachers. VATCS also aspires to encourage teachers to pursue excellence and keep improving their quality of teaching through sharing and exchange of ideas, thereby achieving the long-term goal of enhancing the status of visual arts education in academia.
There are three award categories, including the "Professor Mayching Kao Visual Arts Teacher Development Award", "Award for 30 Years of Visual Arts Education Contribution", and "Art Education Life Achievement Award".

Award for 30 Years of Visual Arts Education Contribution
「30年視覺藝術教育貢獻獎」旨在表揚對視覺藝術教育作出貢獻，並具有30年視覺藝術教育經驗的本會會員或執行委員。
To recognize visual arts teachers who have worked tirelessly and contributed to visual arts education. Winners must be teacher members, executive committee members, and professional visual arts teachers with 30 years or more of teaching experience in the association.
