目的 Objectives

本獎項由高美慶教授贊助，香港美術教育協會主辦。設立目的在於肯定優秀視覺藝術教師的成就，期望藉「視覺藝術教師發展獎」鼓勵他們於繁重的工作下，持續創作及進修，提升個人藝術造詣，培養教師追求卓越的文化及提昇教師專業的藝術素養。

The "Visual Arts Teacher Development Award" is graciously supported by Professor Mayching Kao and meticulously organized by the Hong Kong Society For Education In Art. This distinguished accolade is designed to honor the exceptional achievements of outstanding visual arts educators. The award aims to motivate these educators to continue their creative pursuits and academic growth amidst their demanding schedules, enriching their artistic accomplishments, nurturing a culture of excellence among teachers, and advancing the professionalism of their artistic literacy.

獎項 Award

​得獎者最多七名，每位最多可獲港幣20,000元資助（以實報實銷形式計算）及嘉許狀乙張。

*獲資助者須與本會簽署承諾書，以確保履行計劃書內容​。

​

Up to 7 winners will be chosen for the "Visual Arts Teacher Development Award," with each awardee eligible for a maximum reimbursement of HK$20,000 and a certificate of commendation.

Recipients must sign a commitment letter with the association to ensure the successful implementation of their proposed initiatives.

參選資格 Eligibility

申請人必須為：

  1. 香港永久性居民；

  2. 香港美術教育協會會員；​

  3. 從未獲得「高美慶教授視覺藝術教師發展獎」之資助；

  4. 任教小學、中學或特殊學校之現職註冊視覺藝術科教師，或於幼稚園及幼兒園任教有關視覺藝術或美育相關內容的現職註冊教師；

  5. 在2024/25學年或之前，已任教視覺藝術或美育相關科目不少於2年。​​​​​

Applicants must:

  1. Be a permanent resident of Hong Kong;

  2. ​Be a member of HKSEA;

  3. Have never received funding from the "Professor Mayching Kao Visual Arts Teacher Development Award";

  4. Be a visual arts teacher teaching in primary, secondary or special schools, or teachers who teach visual arts or aesthetic education-related content in kindergartens or kindergartens;

  5. Have taught visual arts or aesthetic education-related subjects for no less than 2 years by the 2024/25 school year or earlier.​

參選所需文件 Documents Required

  1. 個人履歷及藝術成就；

  2. 藝術發展計劃書（如進修、交流、展覽、或創作等相關項目）；

  3. 資助財政預算；​

  *以傳真或電郵方式遞交的申請表格不會受理。所有已遞交的文件概不退還。

  1. Resume and Artistic Achievements;

  2. Art Development Project Proposal (such as further study, exchange, exhibition, or creation and other related projects);

  3. Funding Budget;​

  *Application forms submitted via fax or email will not be processed. All submitted documents will not be returned.​​

評審準則及程序 Assessment Criteria and Procedures

  1. 評審準則包括申請者的資歷、計劃可行性、對藝術或藝術教育發展所帶來的效益等；

  2. 評審程序包括審視申請者所提交的證明文件和計劃書內容。評審委員可全權決定批款安排；

  3. 本會或會聯絡申請人進行面試及索取補充資料，以供評審委員會考慮；

  4. 本會將會以電郵方式通知申請人審批結果。

  1. The evaluation criteria include the applicant's qualifications, project feasibility, and benefits to the development of art or art education, etc;

  2. The evaluation process includes reviewing the proposal and supporting documents submitted by the applicant. The independent judging panel has full discretion to decide on funding arrangements;

  3. The Society may arrange for an interview and contact the applicant to obtain additional information for consideration by the independent judging panel;

  4. The application results will be notified by email.

計劃流程 Application Process

  1. 遞交申請：申請者必須填妥「申請及計劃書表格」，並於截止申請日期前提交；

  2. 審批申請：將由獨立評審委員會進行評審；
  3. 公布結果：以電郵方式通知申請結果。如申請成功，第一期資助將於簽署承諾書後發放；
  4. 進行計劃：得獎教師須按其計劃書履行其發展計劃；
  5. 計劃完成：得獎教師須提交成果報告及相關文件，第二期資助將在本會審核成果報告及所有相關文件後發放。

  1. Submission of Application: Applicants must complete the“Application and Project Proposal Form”and submit it before the deadline;

  2. Approval Process: Applications will be reviewed by an independent judging panel;

  3. Result Announcement: The results will be notified via email. Successful applicants will receive the first phrase of funding after signing the commitment letter ;

  4. Implementation of the Plan: Award-winning teachers are required to execute their development project in accordance with their approved proposals;

  5. Project Completion: Award-winning teachers must submit a project completion report and related documents. The second phrase of funding will be disbursed after the Society reviews the reports and all relevant documentation.
