Exhibition of Visual Arts e-Learning in International and Hong Kong schools
Date: 22nd - 29th December 2020
Venue: City Hall, Hong Kong
This exhibition session aims to display and review the fruitful work of online teaching done by visual arts teachers during school closures. We would like to collect outstanding teaching plans designed by visual arts educators, as well as students’ artworks, to demonstrate a whole new educational outlook worldwide under COVID-19.
We will collect your teaching plan, together with your teaching resources (in video or image format) and edit into one documentary. The video will be played in the exhibition area. Related students’ artworks will also be showcased at the venue.
It could be...
Homework assigned to students (reflecting the changes of materials/media used, or any pre-activities/games assessed) ;
Teaching methods/strategies (online platform/new media application in teaching) ;
Highlights of the lesson (it may show how the lesson can increase family and community engagement, or it requires surroundings observation in particular).
Who can join?
Visual arts teachers from elementary to middle/secondary school outside Hong Kong are welcome to join.
1 teaching plan with 5 students’ artworks at maximum. Please note that each student can submit ONE piece of artwork only.
Student’s artworks submission:
The exhibition will display the artwork prints. Yet, original artworks are always welcome.
Any theme, size and media restrictions for students' artworks?
Please note that the teaching materials should be produced within the school closure period.
You should submit...
A teaching plan submission form (the form will be sent to the interested parties separately),
Images, videos of your teaching plans/materials that related to your online teaching AND
Your students’ final artworks' images.
Format: For images, please send to us in JPG (300 dpi) ; for videos, please submit in MOV, WMA or MP4.
NO participation fee is required for the exhibition. The only fee that participating teachers should pay is the outbound postage for students’ artworks (if applicable).
Taken delivery delay and publication into account, submission form, images and video clips should be sent to us by email by 4th September.
For the original artworks (if applicable) , please send to us by post by 13th November to:

During and After the Exhibition
All collected materials will be exhibited at the Hong Kong City Hall between 22nd - 29th December 2020.
All participants, including participated students, will be awarded certificates of participation, which will be sent together with a few exhibition catalogues to their schools/organisations after the event.
